Having Fun Snow Sledging On Gurten Hill

My husband and I are so much fond of snow sledge. Before Christmas (December 23), I urged him to go to the Gurten hill and to go sledding as we bought snow sledge last Sunday (December 21) so I thought it’s great to go snow sledge because it’s also holiday time and no work.
It was first time of baby Cedric rode on snow sledge, he was wondering and looks so funny when he rode the snow sledge but he loved to ride on snow sledge with me and sometimes to his Dad.

To go up to the Gurten Hill it has Gurtenbahn to ride just 10sf per person vice versa and possible to walk within 30 minutes there are walking path so there is no problem if you were lost. There is also restaurant self-service and hotel. There is also a tower the view point of the place where you can see the breathtaking view of Bern, Bernese Oberland and the beautiful Alps, it is said that this place it is the impression of Bern the

On Gurten Hill on wintertime when have enough snow, it has ski learning (school) just good for children.

Winter Holiday

It’s holiday and cold season. It is time to go to holiday and enjoy winter sports. As we, all know that winter sports are lots of fun. With snow, there are many things to do there are lot sports like ski, snowboarding, snow sledging/ sledding, skating etc. just for winter sports.

In Switzerland there are places offers all year round skiing, snowboarding that located in highest mountain such as Zermat in the month of glacier in summer time. The Zermatt known for best ski resorts of Switzerland. In Zermatt where we can find the most beautiful mountain of the world called Matterhorn.

In wintertime, there are many skiers, snow borders and sliders having holiday and enjoy the winter sports.

Oppss sorry I am not a skier but I love sledding. Sooner my husband and I with our son Cedric we are going to snow sledding. I am so excited and cannot wait to do sledding again since it has been awhile that we have not been on the mountain doing sledding.

Bears In Bern

If you’re planning to visit in Bern the capital city of Switzerland visit Baerengraben (Bärengraben) where you can find the brown bears. This is another spot in Bern in Baerengraben. Bear is symbolizes of the city. The legend was the duke named the city and killed the bear here. I don’t know if this is true story but people mostly saying this story.

Coming soon bears pit have a new park. Nowadays they’re building the new park for bear pits and for human. This could very exciting I am sure this is also the one most attractive in the city of Bern this will be open on October 2009. They’re building down to the banks of Aare river now as I’ve seen last week (October 19) so this is great for bear pits, with friendly nature and with beautiful landscape, bears can swim and play in the big area.

The House And Square Of Parliament Of Swiss

This is the house and square of parliament of Swiss. House of parliament is the seat of Swiss government and the swiss government is the federal council in Berne. The fountains was inaugurated on 31 July and 1 August 1 2004 the Swiss national day. The 26 fountains symbolises the cantons in Switzerland. The fountains are the most attractive in the city. When the weather is hot, there are lot of people, kids and adult having fun to play with the 26 dancing water fountains that is the most popular water playground of the kids in the city of Berne.

Bern Town Capital City Of Switzerland

I thought to share you some photos that I’ve taken few months ago and the latest photos with my mom tour in Bern town. Let me tour you around in Bern. This is not in entire Bern town but I want to share some photos that I’ve taken few months ago and during winter time.

Bern town is a small city of Switzerland (Berne in French) but is historic, charming, and lovely small town clean and green city surrounded by the beautiful Aare river. Is the great spot destinations and it is recognized by UNESCO as a cultural World records.

Onion Market

One of the traditional folk festivals a Zibele-Märit or Onion Market in Bern celebrated on the fourth of Monday. Farmers around in Bern Canton display the different artwork, plaited string of onions sculptures and as well as nuts, fruits, Garlic and crafts. The day that you can buy fresh onion cakes, cheesecake and onion soup are offer in restaurants and colourful staffs, breads and vegetables. Children and teenagers or even just adult roam around at the fairground and scatter confetti, jesters, have onions costumes in the streets.

The onion market located in the Bundesplatz (in the square of House Parliament) between the railroad stations. The Onion market opens early in the morning 5 AM.

Amazing View From Gurten Hill

This is the first place my husband brought me in my first day in Switzerland. It was wintertime; the place was full of snow as what you can see in the photo. Here you can see the amazing view all around the Berner Oberland in Gurten hill and the fantastic Alps, the known mountains specially the Eiger, Monch and Jungrfaujoch and the picturesque of Bern town. Gurten Hill is the one largest park in Bern and it is popular desdinations for outings. Going up to the top hill taking the modern railway within 7 minutes and it is possible with foot too about 20 minutes up. Sometimes my husband and I came here we did snowledged during wintertime and in summertime it is possible to do picnic with grill and playing sports.
